At MKE Slatwall, we take pride in offering a 10-Year Limited Warranty on our garage slatwall panels and accessories, built for strength, safety, and long-lasting performance. Our PVC slatwall panels and storage accessories (hooks, baskets, shelves, brackets, and more) are engineered to meet the demands of garages, workshops, utility rooms, closets and other indoor storage environments.

This warranty provides peace of mind that your investment in our garage organization system is protected—when installed and used as intended.

 

Warranty Coverage

MKE Slatwall warrants that, under normal garage and indoor use, our slatwall panels and accessories will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 10 years from the date of purchase. This includes:

  • Structural failure of slatwall panels under rated weight loads
  • Defective or malfunctioning accessory locks or backplates
  • Defects in hook, shelf, or bracket construction

If a product is determined by MKE Slatwall to be defective, we will replace the product or component at no cost (FOB from our warehouse). Proof of purchase and clear photos of the issue are required.

 

Exclusions and Disclaimers

This warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:

  • Products with improper installation (e.g., failure to mount panels to wall studs or using incompatible fasteners and hardware)
  • Products exceeding published weight limits for panels or accessories (see below)
  • Products with modifications or repairs made by unauthorized parties
  • Products with cosmetic wear such as minor scratches, scuffs, or normal surface wear that does not impact the structural integrity or performance of the product
  • Products used in outdoor environments or in environments with excessive moisture, UV, humidity, or temperature fluctuations
  • Products used in conjunction with non–Milwaukee Slatwall panels, accessories, or hardware
  • Products that have been subjected to negligence, accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation, maintenance, or storage, or any use other than normal indoor and garage service
  • Products transferred from the original end-user to any subsequent owner
  • Shipping damage not noted at time of delivery

This Warranty covers only products installed and used under normal indoor / garage conditions for storage and organizational purposes.

 

Reporting Defects and Shipping Damage

  • Any manufacturer or order defects must be identified and reported to the Company within 5 days of delivery
  • Any shipping damage must be documented at the time of delivery and clearly noted as “damaged” on the carrier’s delivery documentation
  • Failure to report within these timeframes may result in denial of a warranty claim
  • Photos of shipping damage must be documented at the time of delivery and reported within 5 days

 

Slatwall Weight Ratings & Overload Disclaimer

MKE Slatwall panels are lab-tested and rated to support up to 450 lbs when items are mounted flush against the wall. Load capacity decreases the farther the load is cantilevered out. Below is the load rating chart:

Always follow our published load capacity guidelines. Overloading panels or accessories—especially with items placed far from the wall—can cause structural damage and void your warranty.

 

Installation Requirements

To maintain warranty coverage, all products must be:

  • Installed in garage and indoors and in accordance with MKE Slatwall installation instructions
  • Mounted and anchored to appropriate wall structure (e.g., wall studs or masonry)
  • Used only with compatible 3″ on-center slatwall panels and accessories
  • Not altered, modified, or exposed to damaging environmental conditions

How to File a Warranty Claim

To start a warranty claim, send the following to:

Include:

  1. Proof of purchase (invoice or order number)
  2. Photos clearly showing the issue or defect
  3. A short description of the issue and installation method
  4. Your name and shipping address

We respond to warranty requests within 5–7 business days.

 

Warranty Limitations and Legal Notes

  • This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from MKE Slatwall or authorized resellers
  • It is non-transferable and applies to the original end-user
  • It covers only products used in garage and indoor storage or retail settings

Use of StoreWALL-branded accessories with MKE Slatwall panels will not void this warranty if installed according to our guidelines.

 

Shipping & Return Policy for Warranty Claims

If your product is found to be defective, MKE Slatwall will ship a replacement part or item at no cost (within the continental U.S.). Return of defective goods may be required. Unauthorized return shipments will not be accepted.

 

Legal Disclaimer

This Limited Warranty is provided in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

MKE Slatwall shall not be liable for:

  • Incidental or consequential damages to personal property or punitive damages of any kind
  • Labor, installation, removal, or other indirect costs
  • Loss of use, profits, or other commercial losses

This Warranty shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, United States of America.
